What is Novteam?
A team and business management app for SMEs: scheduling, hours, leave, tasks, memos, reviews, goals, suppliers and jobs at your clients’ sites, all in one place. It is built for owners and on-the-ground managers, especially in restaurants, hotels, retail, security and care.
Where is my data hosted?
In the European Union: Novteam’s database and servers are in Frankfurt. Each company only sees its own data, and each person only what their role allows.
How do I switch from Excel or another tool?
You create your departments and roles, invite your team (everyone gets a personal code by email) and carry over current holiday balances. You only switch on the modules you need; the rest can wait.
How does it work with my fiduciary?
Novteam prepares the month’s payroll variables from approved hours and absences, then exports them as PDF, Excel or an Abacus import file. Payslips are still calculated by your fiduciary.
Is Novteam suitable for small businesses?
Yes. Billing starts at five people: a team of five pays CHF 24.00 a month, all included. No setup fees, no paid options.
Can I run several teams?
Yes. You create as many departments and roles as you need, with a manager per team. Rights are set by role and by team: each person only sees the scope they have been given.
Does Novteam work on a phone?
Yes, that is where it is used most. The app installs on iPhone and Android, with notifications and Face ID or fingerprint login. On a computer, the same workspace opens in the browser, and a tablet can serve as a time clock with personal codes.
What happens to my data if I stop?
You can download all your data in Excel at any time. If you stop, your workspace is kept for a few months so you can come back or retrieve everything, then it is permanently deleted.
