What you receive
The month’s variables
Hours, night and Sunday hours, days worked, holidays, public holidays, sickness, accident, unpaid leave and other absences, bonuses and deductions: one line per person, with their staff number and AHV number.
A frozen month
Your client closes the month once hours are approved. Exports use the frozen values; to correct something, they reopen the month, and the next close freezes it again.
Your codes, once
You give your client your wage type numbers (Abacus: “Lohnart”) and the staff numbers. The import file then reads without any rework.
Hours approved by each person
Every employee approves or disputes their hours before the close. Disputes are settled at your client’s, not at yours.
What Novteam doesn’t do
Novteam doesn’t calculate net pay, contributions or declarations. It prepares the variables; you produce the payslips, as you do today.
Questions from accountants
Do I need access to Novteam?
No. Your client sends you the exports of the closed month: the PDF file, the variables in Excel or the import file.
Which payroll software?
The import file lists one line per variable and per person, with your wage types: it is designed for Abacus. For other software, use the Excel export.
Does Novteam calculate net pay?
No. Salary, contributions and net pay are calculated in your payroll software. Novteam prepares the variables.
How much does Novteam cost my client?
CHF 4.80 per person per month, every module included. Above 50 people, on quote.
